I've been reading and thinking about world history this week. It's wonderful when you see the human spirit overcome extraordinary obstacles; when you see a person with a special gift and calling rise up to face the unique challenges of his or her generation (e.g. Joan of Arc, George Washington, Winston Churchill,).

Such an opportunity has descended upon our blog's namesake. Here is an e-mail from him to a few friends. I don't think he'd mind me posting it.


My calves just had their first photo shoot this week. I was working with the photographer I assist and the mixed martial arts fighter who was modeling just didn't deliver the physique the client was looking for in the calf department. Luckily the puck was on the set that day. They stand to be published in a month or two in the company's new marketing materials.

I'll pass along any images that are released.

Employee of the Month

Confession. Usually when I post something here is just a gimick, or an excuse to keep in touch with you all. This time is different.

I'm gonna creat an "Employee of the Month" photo of myself at work, but I don't usually keep bad or cheezy photos of me. So I don't have any. But the thought occured to me, that some of you all might.
